Ok I finally got under and took a photo :D
How do we adjust ernies beam then?
any clues?

That looks like a Puma beam to be. Very easy to adjust :)
Undo the 2 nuts and you're left with a grub screw with an allen key head. Remove the shiny plate with teeth in it. Undo the allen key a few turns and move the bar downwards. Put shiny thing with teeth back on, do allen key grub screw up tight, then put both nuts back on tight.
Is there any adjustment left in it? It's hard to tell from the pics, but if there isn't any more teeth left the other side that you can't see, then it's at it's lowest setting.

oh that sounds easy enough
might have a go tomorow afternoon then and see how it goes lol
I think there is a bit of adjustment left, when we bought it they told us they had raised it up a bit recently so hopefully we will be able to go lower lol

Get some POR 15 on the beam and framehead too :)

Let us know how you get on :) you'll need someone to lift up the wheels while you're adjusting it, otherwise it'll go straight up to max height.
And seconded on POR-15 :)
