Just got ernie back home and called marc to put it in the garage

We just have one ever so slight problem........we can't get the seats to go back far enough for Marc to drive the bug

We have pushed em back but they seem to stop a couple of inches before the end of the runners

they are 3 point seats

Should they go back further than this?
Or is that as far as they go meaning we are completely buggered

I dunno, Harrys goes back far enough for me, to the end of the runners, but he has early 2 point runners.

Paul or Kieron on here might know as they have/had later bugs, if not try VZi.

It could just be lack of grease, remove them, grease them up and refit them and see if that helps :)

Well we have just taken them out, cus we need to cover them anyway

They basically go far enough back for me to drive, Marc got in and his legs are up both sides of the steering wheel........no good at all

I have popped a thread on vzi too, hope someone has some clues

Try greasing them, Harrys were really stiff when I got him and wouldn't go all the way back, a bit of grease and they were OK then. They should go further back than that, Marcs sort of my height I think and I have no probs in Harry.

Can you see if they are catching on anything?

Failing that take it back to Evolution maybe they cocked something up welding the new runners in?

Well they are covered in grease as they are (i know cus i have it all over my hands  )

We will try them back in tomorow or something to see if we can have any luck and see if anyone on vzi gives us a magic solution :D

then i will have to go to evo on monday and see what they say....nightmare! its no good if marc cant drive ernie! its supposed to be his blinking car lol

Dont seem to be catching on anything,
It seems like the front point of the three point runner set up is what stops it going back any further

Steve drove Bert a few times and he didn't have any problems with the leg room - altho his big feet did seem to touch most of the pedals all at the same time

He has more of a problem with Joey than he did with Bert.

I think they should go back a little more than that.
