Right, who's going? I'm gonna be booking club camping, so get your name down!

Set in a country park between Plymouth and Darmoor. There's live bands, lots of Dubs, a cruise, kiddies entertainment etc.

Is this mainly an aircooled show ???

I may even get tempted to go even if it is and prehaps purchase an aircooled too :)

Shamrockez
11th January 2008, 22:39
As far as I'm aware, it's an aircooled based show - so it will be like the Bristol Volksfest type of shows :) Watercooled is allowed, but it will be in the minority I would think.

Blugg

Cheers Luce.
If it is like Bristol volksfest then now doubt it would be a good show. I'll take a butchers at my roster and may give it a go :)
If all goes well with the move then I may have a few quid to treat myself to a new toy :D

Shamrockez
12th January 2008, 12:04
Well that's the kinda impression I get - that it will be like that kind of show.

Yeah get a new toy! :D

Shamrockez
30th January 2008, 22:09
Right then kiddies - if we want club camping we've got to prebook -

£17 per person for the weekend - cheep as chips!

There's also going to be a massive cruise down - they're hoping to break a record - which sounds like fun! :D More details here: http://s3.excoboard.com/exco/thread.php?forumid=46032&threadid=275789

Anyway - club campers if you want to send me a cheque I'll collect them up and send them all off together, a I'd rather not mess about with paypal and fees etc, so I think cheques is probably the easiest. Plus if they're all to made out to pay the show it won't have to go through my bank and get spent

This closes on March 1st so I want to send the form off by 25th Feb

Blugg
30th January 2008, 22:12
Can you PM me your adress please Luc :)

Also will it be ok to send you a postal order as i don't have a cheque book :o Guess i can still make it out to whoever i need to make it out too though :)

:ghug:

Shamrockez

I haven't decided what I am doing yet. Obviously I will be going to it, being from Plymouth an all! Just not sure if I will be camping yet or not. It could be fun, but I have a nice house 10 minutes away from the site, and the lure of my own bed is pretty strong.

Hmm. Decisions, decisions.

Will they go directly to Lucy :)

Or will they come to each person individually :)

Oh and do we need to buy entrance tickets too, or does the camping ticket include the entrance :):ghug:

From what I can gather from Chris and Vince the organisers, The tickets only got posted out late last week!!

Word is they went to vanwest last week and sold a **** load of Tickets so by all accounts this should be a good turnout!!

BTW, looks like i'll be working between the two big events going on in Plymouth that weekend!! The hire company I work for are playing a fair part in this one!! So I may be joining club evvo for a jar or two!!

Dub-Diva
15th May 2008, 11:18
Went onto the Plymouth forum yesterday and asked if I am allowed to sell my tickets and the answer is YES... just as long as there's no more than one vehicle and two adults (our space was booked for 1 splitscreen van, 2 adults and 3 children), it's not limited to the EVVO space either as the guy said I could post about the tickets being up for sale on Vzi, but thought I'd give EVVO a chance first. Will put the post up in the For Sale section so I don't clog this...

Lucy, I also posted that you've got no tickets yet and that you'd be pm'ing them on Vzi... hope that's ok.

Hope to see you Lucy, but if not look after Steve and nurse him back to good health :)

Yeah hopefully his back will have recovered by then, but if not, I'll make sure I meet Lukey (or you) somewhere with the tickets. We're only a few mins off the M5 so I can easily pop in to Taunton Deane services with them.

He's on some pretty strong pain killers at the mo and today is quite a bit better than yesterday, so fingers crossed that it continues to get better :)

Hi Lucy, I think it is a bit late to post my ticket on to me now. I am thinking of arriving sometime friday evening. I have to be in all afternoon waiting for the bloody gas board to turn up (if they do turn up!).

There are a couple of options as far as I can see, unless you have any bright ideas....
1. You stop by my house in Plymouth for a cuppa before going to the site and hand me my tickets.
2. You leave them on the gate addressed to me, or by my car reg no.
3. You meet me at the gate when I arrive and hand them over, if I give you a call first.

Sorry to be a pain, but I have to be in for the gas board, as this will be the third appointment I have tried to get them to keep. They didn't bother turning up to one, and they cancelled the other on the day.

Cheers

Ray

No probs Ray - I've got your number so should be able to sort something out :) If we can't make it (steve's really hurt his back), then I'll make sure your ticket is with Luke and/or Blugg and they'll be able to get it to you somehow :)

Blugg
22nd May 2008, 11:11
Luke can you PM me your mobile number, if you will have my ticket. :o

I'll be there some time friday afternoon, probably when it opens. But not sure if/what time you'll be there

Shamrockez
22nd May 2008, 16:12
We're not gonna be able to make it :( Steve can walk a little, but it hurts a fair bit and probably not the best thing if he's wandering round a showground.

Soo.. Danny - do you want me to meet you on the M5 at Taunton Deane Services (midway between J25 and 26 so I can give you your ticket?

Luke? the same? Doesn't matter if you're both there at different times.

Who wants to take Ray's ticket?

We might be able to make it down for the day on Sunday, but it depends how Steve feels.

Thanks Danny. Most important thing is to get Steve better again :) Saw his doc today and he signed him off work for another 2 weeks, so looks like it's going to be a long process! :( and at the moment the pain killers he's on are just knocking him out, so he's sleeping all the time, and when he's not, he's feeling queesy :(

I know how he feels with the painkillers :( I've been taking them for my ear infection since i got back from Stanford hall :( Keep meaning to get anti-biotics but keep forgetting

I'm hoping the Bulmers will be a good painkiller friday night, if not it'll be no cider for me saturday/sunday and back to the painkillers :(

Hope he gets sorted long before 2 weeks :)

Really sorry to hear about Steve - hope he gets better soon. Can't imagine sleeping in Joey would help his back much either .

hope you can make it down on Sunday, as I am sure Geoff would share some of his Thatchers with him (purely for medicinal purposes of course ;) :D ) to help ease the pain.

Can't wait to meet up with the rest of you guys when we get there on sat (and find the club camping).....
