Ok I finally got through to spirit of the 50's (nightmare :lol: )

Just wondering.......did you get the underlay as well as the carpet?
If you did how much does the underlay cover?

I ordered it but forgot to ask how much it covers (yes I know Im a dumbass :) )
I know the newton commercial one covers pretty much everywhere

I would call back and ask...but the stress of trying to get through might push me into craziness

Also how long did it take to come?
Hoping it will come quite quick so when we get ernie back we can crack on with fitting it :D

I didn't know they did Underlay (I got Harrys carpet from Spirit of the 50's too)

I bought Harrys underlay as a kit from Newton Commercials, £25 for a pre cut kit arrived in a couple of days :)

Well i took a deep breath and phoned him back to ask how much it covers

problem is the only way I seem to be able to get him is to call the mobile number and the reception is a bit poo

anyway managed to find out it covers the whole floor, and up the back

It was about a week from ordering - it wasn't in stock so they had to make it all, plus I got the extra little bits. They said if they had it in stock it would have been next day dispatch.

I need to get underlay - ta for reminding me :lol:

Well he said as its first week back he will be a couple of days before sending, marc is just worrying about how long it will take.....a girl on vzi scared him saying they waited weeks for a bra to come through :lol:

well I forgot the underlay when I first rang....had to get through a second time to add it to my order :lol:

i waited 9 weeks for Robbie's bib to come from red9 :eek:

9 weeks for a Bib!!! I want gem to get me a black & white checked one for Harry for my birthday - I hope it doesn't take that long!

Oh and my carpets took about a week to arrive too, not long at all :)

We ordered our carpets from them and we ordered them Wednesday and they arrived Saturday morning and they fit like a dream :D

I don't think Spirit of the 50's do full resto's, they just do interior re-trims, they probably did his interior tho :)
