Hi folks, just thought i would introduce myself to the forum. My name is Dai and my missus id Rachel (hence the R8chyt username). I have a Seat Leon cupra with a fair bit of modding done to it and Rach did have a polo diesel with a few mods on it (votex kit, 17's hids etc) but that is now gone and last week she bought a 2000 2.0 beetle with 60k, cream leather and a glitter paint job (wasnt sure about it before i saw it but the car is dark red and the glitter is red aswell and looks really good on the car). Anyway it will be me on here posting as she wont be bothered to look lol and there will be mods coming and also questions from me (and info if i can help in anyway). Merry Christmas to all and hope to meet some of you in the future at some point. :)

oh cool, ive done a fair bit of work on it. Got 19's, koni FSD and eibach suspension, silicon hoses, full ice install with false floor, cupra r front bumper, neo design rear bumper and loads of other smaller mods. Can never leave a car standard and will be the same with the beetle as she seems to like driving something different to the norm. Il get a few pictures sorted and put a thread on the pics section but here is a quick pic before i fitted the suspension

Very nice Leon! I had a few plans for mine when I had it, but never got round to doing it because I only owned it 2 months - nothing wrong with it, it just 'wasn't a Beetle' lol. Here he is - 'Sammy The Seat':
