as suggested, just posting a quick note to introduce myself and say Hi.

I'm Michelle aka Mixalitsa (my name in Greek). Since I was old enough to appreciate cars I've been in love with Beetles, then it was the old shape but when the new shape was produced I loved it just as much. About a month ago I fulfilled my dream and brought Bernie (short for Bernidette), my midnight blue Beetle. Its only a 1.6 SRI but she's gorgeous!

would really love to, but.....had a bit of an accident during my first week of owning Bernie, I wasn't quite used to those gorgeous wheel arches and as I was pulling onto my drive I managed to get the wall embedded into the back left wheel arch. Alot of the scuff has come off with a bit of t-cut but theres still a 3 inch dent in the skirt and quite a bit of paint missing at the bottom.. I cried and cried for a full ten minutes at the time. Its fixable but I haven't had the cash spare to have it done yet. I'm getting quoted about £270 to sort it all out. So for that reason I'm not really happy about showing her off at the moment :( although it would be cool to see the others.
