One of my Porsche dealers has some wheels in stock that I thought may be of interest
19” Drag(Gallardo Rep) £124 each. With tyre package from £770 plus VAT.
18” Shine(MKV GTi Rep) £110 each. With tyre package from £600 plus VAT.
Both available in 5-100 and 5-112.
<o></o>
Finished in Gun Metal with fully polished face, not plain finish like the ones on ebay. With tyre prices include budget performance tyres with correct sizes for VAG application. Other tyres can be supplied at extra cost.
<o></o>
These are very good quality. Plenty in stock. Shipping is £30

Will need to do some research on how much sidewall you get on 19's ;)

I have considered the GTI reps myself, but after reading that thread the other day on them being heavy its kind of put me off.
What are your thoughts on that Mr DNA?
Also what make are the budget tyres?

Those wheels were always my dream wheels to have on the Bug. The lines and shape work so well with the Bug. But seeing them on the W12 on Top Gear has made me rethink. But my next wheels will be either of these 2 ;)
Unless i change my mind

I read somewhere once that the weight of the alloy is displaced when the vehicle is moving. My 20's weigh a ton but i had a much better ride than on the steelies IMHO
I too would be interested in what tyres are on the hoops ;) although tyres can be replaced, wheels are like searching for a wife

My mate put bigger (heavier) wheels on his car (not NB) and he has had so much trouble. Gearbox replaced, diff replaced, bushes replaced, shocks replaced, camber adjusted, had it lazer allined, it tramlines everywhere, just a big hassle tbh. I am just concerned about future implications of putting different wheels on. Yep it looks good but what else does it put a stain on that will wear quicker.

They are available without tyres remember! With replica wheels it varies greatly, so you can't really generalise. I run 18' RS6 replicas on mine and they are much better, ideally I'd like some 18' sportecs but don't have 2k kicking around!

I'd prefer them WITH the tires on, can always change them when there bald'ish ;)
The Lambo wheels are now firmly planted as number 2 :) in my wish list, which reminds me
