Picked up my new aircooled project at the weekend...

Think I got ripped off though as it turned out to be Japanese and missing two wheels!

If your interested its a Yamaha Wildstar powered by a 1600cc aircooled v-twin. Its polished up alright after a 5 minute wash, but theres lots of tarnished and rusty bits to replace.

The future will hopefully hold a slight colour change, refurbed rims and some different exhaust... along with the replacement of lots of bolts for chrome and stainless.

And no its not a small bike... I'm just a bit of a giant!

I had a look at a drag star, but for me I just needed the extra few inches... Plus this one came up for sale at a very low price and with the work that needs doing it gives me a chance to get a bit more custom with it.

Not really a bike fan, but that's rather smart :)

All that waiting and searching has paid off I see, it looks nice and tidy in the pics.
Personaly I prefer my 2 wheels to be a bit sportier but then that my taste, anyway riding bikes is about the freedom and thrill of the ride.

I like the sporty look too... just don't think for my size its right. I make that bike look small and its almost as big as my chicks old 205! haha... contorting myself onto a sports bike would just be too much effort and pain for me.

With the price I payed for this one I have scope to change a lot of things... I've never been too keen to change and spend even more money on something thats hardly been used and all new and shiney. So with this beater I have scope to go to something like this...

Well I don't think I've got the money to get it just like that... or the time or knowledge! haha

But the rear fender of mine is cracked and I'll be getting it smoothed. Wheels will be blinged and whitewalled too.

Nice bike you've bought mate, and if you turn it anything like this one it'll be goddamn cooler still!

reminds me of the old Indian Brave that me dad had many moons ago
