Just bought a Techno Blue 1.8T bug, used to drive an old 1302s custom in near same colour, never thought I buy a new bug, but now they falling in price they more like beetles again :D .


So far really enjoying the car, great fun flying around in a car people dont expect to be fast :)

Have a few plans for it, mainly faster and lower! :)

Looking forward to using the forums, already found some great information.

Will try and get some pictures up soon :) as for colour I just googled it paint code its LA5W, so Ravena Blue or Blue Lagoon when on a golf. looks similar to Techno blue though buglet :)

it does look raven blue like mine as it has a purply/pink shine to it - but i thought raven replaced techno in 2002, but yours is a 51 plate....hmmm! :confused:

Raven Blue it is then, must of been an early one as it is a 2001 car.
