Where the hell is it supposed to go as there's no holder for a reverse light.. it should be the bottom one but it just isnt there..

Probably didn't have one for the year. What year is it again?
They are pretty simple to wire up, as long as there's the connection on the gearbox for it I think. We did it on our cross over bay with no probs.
Only the Bays have ever had reverse lights. None of the Bugs or Splits have.

Don't think it would have as standard. If there's clear glass for a reverse light on the bottom of the lense, it's probably just the wrong lense.

Cause he's too old - he should have semaphores, but they've been replaced with Ears, which are kind of indicators - but you cant see them

so when you want to indicate.. do you have to wind down your windows (assuming that they wind down.. lol) and stick your arm out which ever way your going in a comedy stylee... lol...

So if you have no passenger and want to turn left and have a tinted rear window your fooked
Seem to remember from who knows where. To turn right you stick your arm out. To turn left you stick your arm out and do a circular anti clockwise rotation.
If you breakdown and need hazard lights, you jump up and down and wave eratically behind the vehicle   :o :)

lol, vinnie has semaphores, but as people only look out for proper indicators it gets a little hairy at times... and we get beeped at!

Bella's the same, except I've not got beeped at cos she's never been anywhere lol. I'm going to run indicators at the same time - hidden behind the horn grills and in some period reverse lights :)
