E38 Evvo Stand

Quite simply MIMO....miss it miss out...

This show is my absolute fave of the season. The atmosphere is fantastic, there are some serious cars around with a great show from the boys in Europe too.

This year I have space for 10 cars. I will be arriving on the Saturday and camping over night with the main show kicking off on the Sunday. Food is great, there are some ace trade stands, show n shine is always well attended with some awesome prizes and there is great entertainment and facilities.

Its based in Northampton and obviously the Edition38 boys put it all together. Prices are £15 for the entire weekend so its a right bargain :)

Anton will you sort out a good camping/club spot then squire? only reason we aren't camping is that its 2 days b4 we go on holiday and I dont really need all the washing and stuff that goes with camping. Me and Chris will be there with Antix and the others for about 9.30 on the Sunday morning. Shall we bring the BBQ and brekkie stuff?

Washing! What kind of excuse is that for not camping! Do you have to go down to a stream with a rock still up north? We have machines that do that kind of thing pretty quick now down ere ;) :D Come for the weekend you know you want to.

VW Action is aircooled based, E38 is watercooled. Which do you prefer? Or.. do one on Sat, the other on Sun!

Its got to be E38 for me every time. For me personally I always find the atmosphere better, the cars on show are more what I would want to spend £10 to see i.e. some of the best new VAG on the scene, you get to see what the Europeans are up to as the show gets a huge Belgium/Dutch turnout. Its really friendly with some great shows that actually sell stuff for New Beetles - you're more likely to find more of your target audience for the business at E38 then at VW Action Antix

Considering there were 2 VW shows on at the weekend and some of us can`t spare a whole weekend I don`t think we did too bad. I did a 300 mile round trip on the Sunday to be there.
BTW, didn`t see any other New Beetle Forums there either .....

as Ant said below him and Adam were just going on Saturday to grab the stand space for the Sunday. Glad we managed to get there at a reasonable time on Sunday am despite the M6 being closed as it was still chaos when we arrived. so many clubs seemed to have turned up last minute and a lot of people didnt stay on the saturday night because of the fear of the british weather :laughing: in total stand ended up with 9 cars and we had a great spot thanks to some gungho defending at 7.30 am from the smoothmeister and his sidekick :cool:
