Hi all
my name is Clive and the bugs name is the Herbster:) He's a 2001, 2.0L Black Beetle with some nice wheels and a nice mod to the engine, i'll be looking to do more when the dollars allow. I hope to get to know some you and possibly meet at some shows.
I will post an avatar soon as i can figure out how the thing works.

Welcome! Nice bug, id like to see some more pics if you've got any. So what wheels have you got on there? i can only see the avatar, they look sweet. What mod have you done to your engine?

as promised here are a few pics, hope they are ok? The mods i have done with the engine are as follows
Piper Cross induction kit
Kent Cam road race cam with 260 degree duration.
I am currently looking to put a Neuspeed Supercharger on board as well, this'll give me an extra 50bhp.
Once i get going with it i will do a project and post as i go along

WOW!! Another fab beetle into the fold. Welcome aboard totally loving your bug - I am not showing the pictures of him to my bug Jack who is currently on the drive throwing his toys severely out of the pram even though he has had a new treat this week. If he was to see Herbster he would want to come out and play and he cant because he's currently broken :(

And good to see your local to a lot of us too - we have some great meets coming up - Tatton Park in August if you fancy joining us we have a club stand and it would be good to meet you and see this gorgeous beetle up close.

thanks very much:) Did you manage to get up to the show yesterday? It was the first time me and the "Herbster" had gone onto a club stand and what a brilliant day, weather was a bit dodgy in the morning but once the rain went it got very hot:)
