Hi all, Just wanted to say hello.

New to the club and thought that this would be a good start to get to know my way around. It can be very daunting!!

If i have done it correctly there should be a photo of my newly purchased car. If not i will try to add it later.

Hope to chat with some of you soon.

Debbie:laughing:

Sorry i should have put Nottingham, UK on my reply.

I am also on the look out for some car transfers for the sides of my beetle.

I am trying to find some big white daisies as i am training to be a florist at college and want to make a statement. Some of you may think i am mad, but as i want to run my own business what a way to get noticed. :omg:

Best place to get them is the sticker/decal stands at shows. They'll make up any design you want. Or alternatively just go into a Sign writers shop and get them to make them up. There not that expensive and they'll even apply them themselves if you buy from them.

You could really go to town on your design of Flower(s) then :) Also they'd be different from the standard ones you see on Bug's.

But it's your Bug so however you want it to look go with that ;)

Oh and if your looking on ebay, you should try looking for 'decals' ;)

Hey Debbie

Welcome aboard. Got your VIP cheque just before we headed for Wolfsburg so I will update your membership and user name to what you wanted now that you are back. Great looking bug you got there. If you are after any stickers/decals let me know as we do have a forum member who makes them and we also have a contact that makes all our club graphics who I would recommend.

See you soon @ a show

Charlie

Thanks for the welcome messages and the information from some of you guys about stickers /decals. I will be needing those contacts charlie, do you know if magnetic daisies are better than actual stickers, as i do not want the paintwork to suffer by putting stickers on. I would appreciate anyones advice on this.

Magnetic will be easy to pinch ;)

Decals are fine for 3 ish months. No problems with washing, after that the longer there on may lighten the paintwork slightly. :)

Saying that i've seen loads of Bugs and cars with decals and never seen anyone suffer any paint thining on their Bugs and cars once removed.

Stickers don't really damage the car unless you have poor/badly sprayed paint work or a really old/faded car :)

Thanks for that info then. I just need to find some white daisies or some type of flower design for the exterior. Not sure yet as i sort of have an idea of what i want it to look like but i am sure that there will be so many designs to pick from i will be spoilt for choice. Mind you i found myself in the same situation when i decided to have a tattoo on my back. Thought i knew what i wanted till i saw all the designs??????????
