Nice site :D

Im more of an Aircooled fan myself although we do own a 2001 Black 2.0l with all the kit (17's / leather / tints /winter pack / Bose etc.) which my wife drives mostly.

I have had a lot of issues with our bug, mostly due to the fact that the original owner/s appeared to have ragged the life out of it!!

Im not a total dunce when it comes to motors but all these modern day (expensive) sensors and electric wizardry have me baffled which is why I figured it best to register and see whats what :)

Perhaps someone could look at my post on the Tech/problem forum who knows a bit about Yaw sensors etc.

Looking forward to learning a bit more about these modern day bugs and will post a pic of ours soon.

Nooch!

Welcome to evvo. sorry to hear you have problems with your 2.0l not good when ppl dont respect their cars and its nice owners like yourself that end up picking up the pieces. Hopefully someone like John or Lucy will be able to help with your problem in tech area as they seem a mind of information on this sort of thing

Thanks for the kind words dudes! I will get some pics posted as soon as I get home....(currently at work taking the Michael ;) )

Should have some of the new bug...its nowt flash like some of the wicked rides on here but cool enough in its own right....and my 67 is currently undergowing a resto by my goodself.....

Our bug has been well and truely ragged...we had to replace the Gearbox at 30k which speaks for itself me thinks! and thats just the beggining of a long..long...long list of repairs!

Still love it though...its kinda cool !
