Hi All
Been lurking on here for a while, recently purchased a low miles 02 2.0l New Beetle( for the wife honest).
Been into the VW scene for many years having purchased and learnt to drive in a Silver 72 Beetle.
Had too many VW's over the years. A few years ago sold the lot and did the house and family thing.
4 years ago I decided to get back into VW's and went looking for a Karmann Cab. Found my dream car and improved and up dated it. Its a 77 03 cab, now fitted with a 1914cc 100+bhp engine.
As the wifes car was due for a change two weeks ago we bought a 02 New Beetle. What a classs car. Since getting it I've changed the badges from the blue and white ones to the more modern silver and black, I've changed the rear brake light to an led one. Treated the whole car to a 3 stage Megauirs clean( like my cars detailed). Future plans include a interior trim kit, the usual fog light up grade and a rear spoiler.
Gona try and post my first ever picture so apologise if this doesn't work. IMG]http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb58
See some of you at Stonor tomorrow

The car is reflex silver, unfortunately she won't let me take the her car tomorrow and I'm not taking a twin webbered Cabbie that far for the day so I'll be in my 2.0 tdi Passat( reflex silver too).
Gonna try again with the photo's. If you needed a spanner to post them, then i'd be ok, but I'm not going to let it beat me.

I noticed from the partial link you posted you have the pic in PhotoBucket.
All you need to do is left click on the lower box so it turns blue like the one in the pic.
Then right click and select copy.
Then just right click when your in the posting bit on evvo and select paste. ;)
Do not remove any of the code you have pasted and just select submit like you do when your posting a new reply ;)

1977, its only done 60,000 from new full history, German import. Its totally stock from the outside and in show condition, but the engine is mental and makes its great fun.
Do most shows on the VW cabriolet stand.
New Beetle is a first as we always have aircooled, have had most years and types over time, but current collection is class.

Our New Beetle is lovely too. Just needs some time and money spending on it.
My Cab is great and is always well recieved its a get stopped at the traffic lights, petrol stations etc sort of car.
But I must admit I'm enjoying our New Beetle, have so many plans but too small a wallet

Harry is a 58 Beetle.
Welcome to Evvo - nice collection you have there! My Mum has a blue 1302 Cab, which was in very nice condition when she got it - but I don't think she's cleaned it since! I'm sure it's still as nice under there. I belive it also used to go on the Cabrio Club stands, so you might even know it!

Crap.. No way Dude, it's  I'm new to the Old Bug scene, you'll get used to me ;)
I mean't it looks FATTER than Harry
http://evvo.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=9105
Harry looks thinner. I've yet to see all the different types of Old Bug and i'm loving finding out about them. I always wanted one but was too afraid to get one as they take a lot of fixing ;)
Really hope to see Both your Bugs at a show soon :D

No didn't notice that one, there were some top cars couldn't get round them all. The metallic red split van got me, how nicely painted was that, even underneath!
