Me +1, I will be having a proper barbecue and drinking Caipirinha's in the sun for whoever wants to join in. I'll bring the generator too so you girls can borrow leccy if you need to use your hair straighteners etc ;)

Is anyone planning on camping Friday night?

ff_rabbit
28th May 2007, 20:05

I'am doing the whole weekend @ Volksfest.
But cos I'am doing the London 2 Brighton on the Sunday (17th) I'am staying up on the Friday either with Chris n Charlie at their house or in me tent. :)
Although, if the weather is good and most are up on the Friday then I could be joining in the fun :D

Camping

There is no camping on the GTI International site itself, but an independent campsite about four miles away from Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground is offering special facilities for visitors to GTI International.
Please note: this is not the camp site which was used last year. The new site is set in a smooth rolling meadow and the team responsible for running it is very capable and experienced.
The provision of toilets and shower facilities will be better than last year and no charge will be made for showers.
Bar facilities and refreshments will be available on site.

We are certain that those who use this new site will be pleased with the quality of the environment and the services provided.

Contact the camp site organisers directly on 0845 373 3578 or log on at:
www.bigwheelentertainments.co.uk (http://www.bigwheelentertainments.co.uk)

Anyone wishing to Camp for GTI International needs to pre-book at the above number. £10 a night.

Just called and apparently that's your pitch for the time your there. So i and the others who are there Friday, don't have to take the tents down saturday and put them back up for saturday night. :)

As with taking the tent down on Sunday in the morning or in the afternoon i still don't have a clue :( Have to find out when we get there friday :)

Blugg
13th June 2007, 12:10
Just had a call back from head honcho, and is fine to leave tents there till sunday afternoon/evening :)

They will be placing arrivals either in the family area or the adult area on arrival. So maybe if a couple of us meet up on friday we can secure the Camp evvo plot :)

Amy x
13th June 2007, 12:52
Get the adult area lol don't want no screaming kids get enough of that at home!!
cool that we can leave stuff there too i did notice it was 24 hour security so assume all will be safe! Nice one Danny x

here are the best directions off the m1:.............
From Junction 20, take the A4304 east towards Market Harborough, through

Hi Amy X
No Problem thought you guys might need some info, Lok forward to seeing you Saturday, The weather is shocking here at the minute, not sure who's camping tonight, you may want to use the pub up the road, the bell inn to keep you out of the rain, you come out of the campsite turn right and then take the first right and it will take you about 5 mins (those directions are for walking only, if driving turn right out of the campsite, follow the road to the t junction and then turn right.) See you guys tomorrow.
Love Lucy and Matt

Just to let you all know theres no camping at the show due to the weather!

So you will either have to look for alternative accommodation or make the trip home and back again for the Sunday.
