what would you recommend for a silver metallic paint?

Serious Performance

Light Fantastic primarily for lights.... Very clear finishing to keep a brighter, clearer shine.

Of course, theres nothing to stop you using something like orange crush which, although mean't more for reds or solid colours, will give a more glossy shine, just not as clear and bright.

All the looks are slight differences, it's as you use more, and different combinations that you see subtle changes in appearance etc, so don't worry about what to get thinking there will be oceans of difference between different products... Thats why I'm happy to help with suggestions if people ask for looks on specific paint colours :).

Cheers.

Oooh so the orange one would work well on the red bug Alex - are you doing a combo deal on wax/applicator/towel just out of interest as in July i could be in the market for all 3. Also Alex we're off to GTI international in June if you want to send some samples up for us to use in Show n Shine with some company literature about the products let me know.

I love the product, the fact it can be applied by hand, no cloth needed. The mind blowingly  packaged tubs :) I'd be more than happy to promote this product ;)

I'm struggling with samples to be honest! lol.... I've been taking pieces of my trial samples and sending it wrapped in cling film for people to try..... I've only got a small amount of the Rainforest Rub left, which if you want a sample, I can send to Charlie, for a few of you to share around at GTI International?

There will be a few specials going into July once I've got the initial rush out the way in June (and there are a fair few wanting the wax asap)....

I will of course be able to sort something out if you wanted all 5 waxes at once :) ..... Drop me a pm or e-mail and I'll see what I can do as soon as I'm given the finalised prices this week.

Cheers :).

Hey Alex - anything you have lying around as samples we are happy to trial for you at GTI. Its something we are looking to develop with evvo throughout this year and next. We have now introduced a paid membership for our "hardcore" following and we were hoping that we could get a few of our sponsors to allow us to trial and showcase their products in return for continuing advertising on evvo?

Charlie, pm me your address and I'll get a big enough sample for a few people to try the Rainforest Rub at GTI Int.

Extreme Addiction... The Purple Haze for Darks primarily, although the Orange Crush will work very well if it's a solid colour :).

Delivery will be our usual of 3-5 days (although usually quicker once launched from 1st June)..... Or, if your in the north London area, drop me a pm , and you're welcome to collect :).

Prices will be around £28.50 for the Rainforest Rub, and around £32.00 for the other four :).

Cheers.
Alex.

Which one would give the deepest shine on a metallic silver finish? I used to use Zymol Concours on my Black cars but only as I was getting it free back then :) So any samples going don't be shy :)

Purple Haze is gonna be the main for darks and black to start..... Although, the Orange Crush is a 'warm wax' so will work VERY well on solid paints.

Hi Alex

Can you let me know which one is good for the Nimbus Grey, which one is good for the White MK II?

Serious Performance
31st May 2007, 23:34
The Rainforest Rub if you want a hand applied wax (although applicator is fine too), will suit both colours well, or the Banana Armour if you want a proper hard paste wax, and that is set more to be the most durable wax of the bunch but, a little thicker to apply.
