Thought its about time I introduced myself although I have been on this forum for a while I only had to post when I bought my NB. Unfortunally it was in the technical section! However one new turbo and one new cat later all is grand.
Anyway I have been a VW fan for years worringly now over half my life so here are a couple of pictures of my cars.

The Mexican bug is my pride and joy and I will never sell it, 30,000 miles from new, original tyres etc and imaculate in every way I am the second owner. The only things I have done to it in 7 years of ownership is a new steering damper and a pertronix ignition kit, everything else is original.
The 1999 is the bug I bought a few weeks back, it is standard at the moment and have no immidate plans, but in the future I would like to put door poppers on it, lower it slightly and maybe a remap, I don't want to go too mad with it. It is a Belgian import so a very early TDi. To be honest I am very impressed with it, the doors clunk solidly, the storks for wipers feel reassuringly well made and its pretty economical. I would like leather and to retro fit cruise control too.
I am from Cheshire but at the moment I live in Dublin but I am only here until July so after that I will think about the modifications.
The 1999 has a wicked little second spoiler on it that I have only ever seen on one other car and that is on Shamrockez' car. Does anyone know anything about it? VW part, rare aftermarket thing or what.
